On March 16, a group of teachers from the Office of International Affairs, the Online Education Center, and the China-Italy Design Innovation Hub at Tsinghua University visited Xinya College for exchanges. Participating teachers included Chen Jinxi, Deputy Director, Office of International Affairs and Deputy Director, China-Italy Design Innovation Hub; Yang Jing, Director, Overseas Study Office, Office of International Affairs; Wang Xiaoxiao, Director, Online Education Center, together with Mei Ciqi and Zhang Weite, the Dean and Vice Dean, respectively, of Xinya College.

Mei Ciqi extended a sincere welcome to all the guests and gave an overview of the progress in talent development at Xinya College. He also shared Xinya College’s explorations in international curriculum construction and overseas training. Mei expressed the College's commitment to close collaboration with relevant Tsinghua University departments during future development of international talent training programs, in order to support high-quality talent development at the College.

During the exchange, Chen Jinxi, Yang Jing, and Liu Dongni provided comprehensive overviews of Tsinghua's overseas study program system, as well as its creation and development of overseas bases such as the China-Italy Design Innovation Hub. Wang Xiaoxiao elaborated upon the construction and development of Tsinghua's online curriculum system.

In addition, there were lively discussions on topics including the collaboration between the college and the university, global competence development, and the potential of online education in the post-pandemic era.
