Jin Gao is a literary and cultural comparatist whose research examines literature and art in transnational perspective. She has recently written on the British Museum’s collection of ancient Greek art, the poetry of Yeats, and the art theory of John Ruskin. Her translation of Dudley Andrew’s book What is Cinema! was published by the PKU press in 2019.
