TANG Wenming

Tang Wenming was born in 1970. He graduated from Peking University and received his Ph.D. in philosophy in 2001. He is currently a professor, Ph.D. student supervisor at Tsinghua University. He is also Vice-Dean of Institute for Ethics and Religions, Director of Center for Confucian Studies at Tsinghua University, and Secretary general of Chinese Confucius Society.

His main interests are Chinese philosophy, Ethics and Religious Studies. He has been visiting professor at Graduate Theological Union at Berkeley, Harvard-Yenching Institute, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Taiwan University, and Institute of Sino-Christian Studies at Hong Kong.

He has published six books and more than one-hundred academic papers. Some of his books and papers have been translated into English and Korean. Now he is the chief editor of Public Confucianism.
