The main research interests of Prof. Cheng Li include galaxy formation and evolution, galaxy clustering and environment, and large-scale structure formation. He is currently working on the star formation history within galaxies and its relationship with external environment, the physical link between galaxy properties and dark matter halos, and the cold gas content of galaxies, using existing/ongoing/future redshift surveys such as SDSS and PFS.
