Residential Scholars

Zhao Tianye graduated from the School of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy of China Academy of Art with bachelor's, master's, and doctor's degrees. She studies traditional Chinese painting techniques based on the Detailed Manual on Bamboo by Li Kan, a painter of the Yuan Dynasty. Zhao Tianye works for Hangzhou Traditional Chinese Painting Art Gallery and is a visiting scholar at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, a leader of a youth project of Zhejiang Province, a member of the Zhejiang Artists Association, and a national second-class artist.
