Residential Scholars

Dr. Yuan-Jung CHENG served as a Fulbright Exchange Researcher in the United States from 2007 to 2008, an associate professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at National Sun Yat-sen University in Kaohsiung, and head of the Department of English at Shih Hsin University in Taipei in 2016 and 2018. Dr. CHENG is Secretary of the Doris Lessing (winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2007) Society and a member of the International Editorial Board of PNU Journal of Women's Studies.
From 2018 to 2022, Dr. CHENG was invited to Xinya College of Tsinghua University as a guest lecturer, where she taught an English course titled "Introduction to Modern Fiction" and won the honor of "Top 5% Excellent Courses" based on student evaluations.
