On the evening of December 5, 2020, Tsinghua University "12.9" Singing Competition concluded with a great success, and Xinya-SAE's chorus performanceYou Zi Qing Sioutshone other contestants and won the First Prize for Comprehensive Excellence and Arts Standard Award for the fourth consecutive year.

The 2020 Tsinghua University "12.9" Singing Competition also marked the 85th anniversary of the December 9th Movement in 1935, attracting participation of 16 teams from all undergraduate departments in the university. Following the traditions, there were three parts in the night party, namely "From Spark to Prairie Fire", "Sunrise in the East" and "Look Back and Look Forward". With good preparations, the 16 teams gave their brilliant performances at a high level.Being the third performer in the first part, Xinya-SAE expressed sincere feelings in its chorus performanceYou Zi Qing Siwith different gradations of melody and showed Chinese people's love and affection to their motherland during the period of chaos and turbulence, which was full of emotions and touching voice.

Looking back from the motivation meeting on October 10 to the performance on December 5, all teachers, students and counselors from Xinya-SAE spent two months in hardships and happiness together, and everyone went through many setbacks and improved themselves a lot from controlling the volume and intonation at the beginning to the final soulful performance.

When the party approached to its end, Xinya-SAE lived up to everyone's expectation and won the First Prize for Comprehensive Excellence and Art Standard Award in the Tsinghua University “12.9” Singing Competition out of strong rivals. After the results were announced, all students and counselors were cheering up and congratulating the team for being the winner of the prize for four consecutive years!
