On February 25, Prof. Chan Sun On Hector, Associate Vice-President of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and Head of New Asia College; Prof. Cheung Kam Siu Kenneth, Dean of Students at New Asia College; and Mr. Wong Hoi Fung Jack, Development Officer at New Asia College, visited Xinya College. Attendees at the reception from Xinya College included Dean Mei Ciqi, Deputy Dean Zhang Weite.

Dean Mei warmly welcomed Prof. Chan and his delegation. He began by discussing the history of Xinya College and New Asia College, highlighting the many similarities in their educational philosophies and teaching methods. Additionally, he outlined Xinya College's approach to talent development, general education curriculum, and the "10,000-hour" activity series, focusing on aspects of general education and college life.

Prof. Chan expressed his gratitude to Xinya College for their warm reception. He focused on the educational philosophies and practices of New Asia College, particularly its initiatives in preserving Chinese traditional culture and fostering social responsibility among students. Prof. Cheung highlighted the efforts made by New Asia College in inter-college partnerships and expressed hope for further cooperation between the two colleges, particularly in areas such as student visits and exchanges.
