Recently, Tsinghua University released the Evaluation Report on Undergraduate Course Teaching for the Fall Semester of the 2020-2021 Academic Year, in which 15,605 undergraduates, accounting for 97.26% of the total, evaluated online the teachers who lectured on the theoretical and practical courses they selected. In this semester, 140,081 questionnaires were distributed, of which 137,705 were returned, accounting for 98.30%. Among them, 134,789 were valid samples, accounting for 96.22%. The evaluation involved 1,625 courses and 2,534 teachersfrom 49 colleges (departments and institutes) participated.

The report showed that 280 teachers who lectured for classes with more than 100 ones, 763 for those with 30-100 students and 801 for those with less than 30 ones were assessed this semester. For classes with more than 100 students, 14 teachers scored in the top 5%, including one from Xinya College:
