On December 8, Gan Chee Lip, Associate Provost and Professor at the School of Materials Science & Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, visited Xinya College. Deputy Dean Zhang Weite, Foreign Affairs Assistant Zhang Yu, Student Counselor Chen Weihao, and student representative Zhong Tianyu were present to welcome him. Deputy Dean Zhang Weite warmly welcomed Professor Gan Chee Lip, and gave him a detailed introduction to Xinya College's talent training philosophy, general education curriculum system and the "10,000-hour" activity series. Professor Gan Chee Lip expressed his gratitude for the reception at Xinya College and gave an introduction to the educational philosophy and practices of Nanyang Technological University.

The two sides also discussed topics including international exchanges, curriculum design, and future collaborations.
